Sterrenplaten: Interview Hieroglyphic Being + Vrijkaarten Marina Herlop

Sterrenplaten heeft deze vrijdag een interview met Jamal Moss aka Hieroglyphic Being, de iconische DJ en acid- en houseproducer uit Chicago. Op de openingsavond van het Artefact-festival hebben we het over zijn live set-up, science fiction, z’n Mathematics label, zijn jongste Viernulvier Records-plaat “QUADRIC SURFACES” en de woelige wateren van de muziekindustrie. Het werd een lang en episch interview.

Ook nu vrijdag presenteert Sterrenplaten het concert van Marina Herlop en Lucinda Chua op het Listen Festival in Brussel. In de Église Notre-Dame de Laeken staat de twee op dinsdag 26 maart 2024 in een organisatie van de Botanique. Jij kan daar bij zijn met onze groeten, we schenken tijdens de uitzending duotickets weg.

Marina Herlop oversteeg haar klassieke pianotrainingom haar eigen unieke, polyfone muziek te creëren. Haar nieuwste EP “Nekkuja” (nog steeds op PAN) is een ruwe diamant die haar duizelingwekkende universum verdiept met een scherper kantjes. De Barceloneese haalde met “Nekkuja”de zesde plaats in Radio Scorpio’s De Beste 106 van 2023. Lucinda Chua verzorgt het voorprogramma.

Nu vrijdag vanaf 21u naar Radio Scorpio via 106fm (Leuven) of www.radioscorpio.be (wereldwijd) luisteren is de boodschap.

Sterrenplaten: KRAAK Festival 2024 en Vrijkaarten voor Helado Negro 🎟️

Nu we terug live kunnen en de lente in zicht komt nodigen we meteen gasten uit: Gabriela van Kraak vergezelt ons voor de KRAAK Festival-special!

Een nieuw KRAAK Festival lonkt immers aan de glinsterende oevers van de Schelde! Voor de vierde editie in Het Bos, alweer, op zaterdag 2 maart. Wees voorbereid voor je jaarlijkse excursie en luister deze vrijdag naar Sterrenplaten.

10 dagen later, Op vrijdag 12 maart 2024 brengt Helado Negro zijn kosmische synth-pop wereld naar de Botanique. Roberto Carlos Lange brengt vooral ook ‘Phasor‘ (4AD) mee, zijn pas verschenen meesterwerkje. Sterrenplaten geeft vrijdag vrijkaarten weg.
