Sterrenplaten sprak vorige week net voor haar optreden in Les Ateliers Claus met Valentina Magaletti. Valentina Magaletti is een veelzijdige drummer, percussionist en componist, geboren in Bari, Italië, maar al meer dan 20 jaar wonend in Londen.

Veelzijdig? Ze speelt onder meer in en met Vanishing Twin, Moin, AVVITAGALLI, CZN, Holy Tongue, Tomaga en UUUU.

Met Magaletti hebben we het over onder meer bier, Londen, hoe ze met drummen begon, visuals, improvisatie, experimenteren met nieuwe materialen en de ongelofelijke stroom aan nieuw werk dat op stapel ligt.
