Red de Stoep, quizzen en geschiedenis
Marjan Frederix van Mobiel 21 vzw motiveerde ook ons om de stoep vrij te houden, met de Red de Stoep-actie en de bijbehorende foto-tentoonstelling in Leuven. We stelden ook enkele gerichte vragen aan Wereldkampioen Quizzen bij de junioren, Tom Trogh. Tenslotte zorgden ook de vele geschiedenisfeitjes voor een opfrissing van de parate kennis!
Fiesta Europa, ART Intelligence Quiz en cultuur!
Scoops op vrijdag, met een streepje minimalmuziek! Roeland kwam naar onze studio om alles te vertellen over Fiesta Europa, een internationale markt die ook in Leuven een plaats op het Herbert Hooverplein kreeg. Joren Thibault van Amusez Vous kon dan weer een woordje uitleg geven over de ART Intelligence Quiz. Daarnaast, vrijdagse cultuurtips en ontspannend tussennieuws over Amerikaanse ballen!

Germany win again
Germany are on the brink of qualifiying for the EURO 2012 finals in Poland and Ukraïne after a fine victory against Azerbaijan in Baku last night. The Mannschaft now has 7 wins out 7 in Group A, which also features Belgium and Turkey. Ozil, Gomez and Schürlle were on target for Germany with Huseynov scoring for Azerbaijan.

England and Sri Lanka draw at Lords
No suprises at Lords on the final day of the 2nd Test match between England and Sri Lanka. England set the tourists a total of 343 in 58 overs to win, but Tharanga Paranavitana (44) showed courage and kept the English at bay. The Sri Lankans battled their way to 127-3 before the teams decided to settle for a draw.
England thus take a 1-0 series lead to the Rose Bowl where the teams will meet for the third and final test later this month. It has been confirmed in the mean time that Tillakaratne Dilshan, the Sri Lankan captain, has been ruled out for the third test because of a broken thumb.
